Aunt Carina

Dax Caden Pinnock was born at 6:20pm 9/18/07 after exactly one hour of pushing. He is 7 lbs 4 oz. 19 3/4 inches long. He is such a cute little guy with so much hair!!! He was very alert and so quiet, just making cute little baby noises and maybe one cry when he first came out. Dax was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palette, but they have really remarkable surgeries that will fix that very well. He will probably have his first surgeries at 3 months old up at Dornbeckers. Treeva did really good, I am so proud of her!!!

Some Updates....

Well life is very busy for us right now. Mom has been in the hospital alot since she had surgery for colon cancer. Treeva will pop any day now(her due date is 9/14) I am so excited to be an Aunt! Dan's sister Marianne is also due shortly. Tasha has moved back home to take care of my mom and this has been a huge blessing. She is dating Kyle Blair right now. He's a keeper, good job Tash! We are also doing lots of home improvement projects on all available weekends and evenings. We finally finished the tile entryway(you can see it in the picture with Tater), the woodstove and chimney are completely in, and we put in a sun tube skylight in the livingroom. I really like our little home and we are making it our own.

Treeva thinks she looks like Heimlich from Bug's Life in this picture. I think she looks adorable. There's a baby boy in there :)

Tasha & Kyle - so cute!

I'd like to introduce....

I'd like to introduce the newest addition to our family. This is Tater Tot, my 5 month old Boxweiller puppy we just adopted on 8/30. FYI: a Boxweiller is a Boxer-Rottweiller cross. It's funny because we had actually looked at getting a puppy from her litter and thats when I first heard about Boxweillers. So a few months later I was surfing craigslist and viola! I found her! Her owners were giving her away because she was too hyper a pup for them. She is such a sweetheart and looks so much like Ninja, my beloved boxer that I had to give up earlier this summer.
