We had a very close encounter of the enormous elk kind, right there in lower Mammoth! He walked right by our car. Tater was trying her hardest to pick a fight with him and in the background you can see the Gilbert's house where we were staying.
Elk are dangerous during the rut and may even charge your car! I thought this sign was very appropriately placed.

So much fun! I haven't looked on here in awhile, SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED! GAMES! BABIES!!! All the pictures look great! You look really pretty in that "red shirt" one. Those elk were CRAZY! Glad all is well!
